Veneers

A veneer is a thin layer or tooth coloured material that is put onto the front of the tooth to make is look more aesthetically pleasing. 

If your front teeth are stained, chipped, or slightly misaligned, veneers will give you a good life-like appearance with minimum tooth adjustment. They are usually made from porcelain and therefore are very strong as well as very natural looking, see also CEREC

Benefits of veneers:

• Veneers can greatly improve your appearance.
• Veneers can also protect the tooth from further damage, for example, acid erosion.
• If the tooth is still strong, a veneer is a better option that a crown for improving a tooth’s appearance, as there is far less tooth preparation
